Wedding photography locations in Budapest. There are many options you can choose from. In this post as a wedding photographer I would like to show you some of the many different locations. I am sure you can easily fall in love with one or even more locations 🙂

Fisherman's Bastion

Fisherman’s Bastion is one of the most popular location if it comes to wedding photography. There is a beautiful view of the city and the parliament from here

It is worth getting here very early, because the sunrise from here is breathtaking. In addition, the lights are perfect for the photoshoot and there are fewer tourists 🙂

The buildings give many options to have the perfect photos. We can spend here 2 hours here easily 🙂

Buda Castle

Just a 5-minute walk from the Fisherman’s Bastion is another wonderful location the Buda Castle.

The Habsburg Gate with its magnificent stairs is one of my favorite locations. Really romantic photos can be taken here.

During a 2 hours long session we can easily cover both the Castle and the Bastion.

Vajdahunyad Castle

It is a really good choice if you also want photos in nature. Quite huge park with a romantic castle with a small, nice lake.

Nice bridges, catching gates, a lovely lake and a huge green park can serve as a background for your photos. A prefer this location in the afternoon

Heroes Square

Next to the Vajdahunyad Castle is the Heroes Square. Huge area with nice statues. This is the historical side of the City Park.

Many beautiful new buildings have been built here in recent years. Many new opportunity for catching photos if you prefer the modern urban style

Chain Bridge and the Parliament

The parliament and the bridge are within walking distance. The Chain bridge is the oldest bridge in Budapest and has just undergone a complete renovation, so now it shines in its old glory.

The Hungarian Parliament is one of the most beautiful parliaments in the world. It is a huge, beautiful building, which is a wonderful location for wedding photos. It is breathtaking not just from a distance, but also up close

Castle Garden

The Castle Garden. Many many, very exiting options. Historical, modern, everything in one location. I really like coming here. It is not so well known so there are fewer tourists and you can have very uniq photos here

Gellért Hill, Liberty Bridge and Citadel

The last of the wedding photography locations in Budapest I would like to introduce you in this post is the Gellért Hill with the Citadel. Beatiful view of the city with the Liberty Bridge. Lots of green, lots of nature. Not the usual location for a pre-wedding session, but it absolutely worth coming here 🙂
